Michael Snyder

Michael Snyder, Ph.D. is a leading expert in genomics, precision medicine, and digital health. He is the Stanford W. Ascherman Professor of Genetics and former Chair of the Department of Genetics at Stanford School of Medicine. Michael is widely recognized as a pioneer in functional genomics and one of the first scientists to apply large-scale “omics” technologies to understand human biology at a systems level.

His research focuses on multi-omics, wearable sensors, and data-driven approaches for early disease detection, personalized health monitoring, and understanding individual variation.
